How to give LER Web Services delegate access in GoDaddy

Use this guide when you need LER Web Services to work inside your GoDaddy account for domains, hosting, DNS, or related setup tasks.

If you want LER Web Services to help with your GoDaddy account, the cleanest way is to invite us as a delegate at info@lerws.com. Delegate access lets us work on your products without seeing your password, support PIN, or payment methods.

BEFORE YOU START
  • Sign in to the correct GoDaddy account as the owner or another user who can manage delegate access.
  • Have the invite email ready: info@lerws.com.
  • Decide whether you want to give us access to products, domains only, or purchase access for renewals and new purchases.
1

Open GoDaddy Delegate Access

Sign in to GoDaddy, then open the Delegate Access page for your account. If you are already signed in, GoDaddy may take you there directly after you confirm your session.

2

Click Invite to Access

In the People who can access my account section, click Invite to Access to open the delegate invite form.

3

Enter LER Web Services as the delegate

Type LER Web Services for the name and info@lerws.com for the email address.

4

Choose the right access level

For most website, hosting, DNS, or product tasks, choose Products & Domains. If you want us able to buy products or renewals on your behalf using your stored payment method, choose Products, Domains, & Purchase. If you only want help with domains, choose Domains Only.

5

Send the invite

Click Invite. GoDaddy will email the invitation to us, and once it is accepted, you will see LER Web Services listed in your delegate access section.

6

If you chose Domains Only, assign folder permissions

Domain delegate access is controlled through GoDaddy folder permissions. If you only want us working on certain domains, assign the correct folder permissions after the invite so we only touch the domains you intend.

7

You're done

Once the invite is accepted, we can work inside the approved parts of your GoDaddy account without you having to share login credentials directly.

GoDaddy says delegates cannot view or change passwords, payment methods, support PINs, or other secure account credentials. Pending invites can also expire if they are not accepted within roughly 48 to 72 hours.

Products & Domains is the safest practical default for most client work. Use Products, Domains, & Purchase only if you want us to place orders or renewals on your behalf. Use Domains Only if the work is limited to domain management.

Yes. GoDaddy handles domain delegate access through folder permissions, so you can limit which domains a delegate can manage instead of exposing your whole account.

Yes. GoDaddy lets you change a delegate's access level or remove the delegate later from the same Delegate Access area in your account.

If you send the invite and we do not accept it right away, check whether the request is still pending. GoDaddy notes that pending delegate invites can expire, so you may need to resend it.

GoDaddy delegate access is ready

Once the invite is active, LER Web Services can handle approved account tasks without needing your password. If the work is domain-specific, make sure the related folder permissions are set correctly too.
