How to request website updates

Use this workflow when you need content, layout, or feature updates on a site already under support or maintenance.

The fastest update requests are grouped clearly, include the replacement copy or assets, and identify exactly where each change belongs on the site.

1

List each requested change separately

Break updates into short bullets by page or component. That makes review easier and reduces the chance that a small request gets buried inside a long paragraph.

2

Include final replacement content

Send the exact copy, image, link, or file that should replace the current version. Requests that say only “update this section” usually need a second round for clarification.

3

Flag priority and deadlines

If one change is urgent or tied to a campaign, separate it from routine edits so it can be handled in the right order.

A screenshot with arrows or notes is often the clearest way to show the exact section you want updated, especially on long pages.

Update request prepared

If each edit is listed, the final assets are included, and the priority is clear, the request is ready for review and scheduling.
